Saturday trip with K-man

Had a great day with Caelan, it started off bad. The bus we were in was in an accident. Caelan was fine because I am an amazing Dad and protect my kids. Another kid went flying to the front of the bus. We decided to not chance the crazy bus drivers and went on the subway to Gimpo Airport. We went to an Italian restaurant and had lasagne and watched airplanes take off and land.

Now its time to study while the boys are sleeping.

Thursday October 22nd

Yesterday Chungha told me that her brother Wontek did not make the cut for samsung. On top of that disappointment he over heard his mother and father talking about how he did not try hard enough and are worried that he will be unemployed for along time and playing video games and doing nothing.

A few years ago when Chungha and I returned to Korea from Canada, we lived with the mother she was crazier than a shit house rat. She threaten to kick us and our newborn baby out almost daily. Even tho is was her idea to live together. On top of that she made the brother move in and expected me to pay for everything. Paying for a grown man is not something I was willing to do. So we moved out into a tiny apartment. After a year and saving $100,000 we moved into a large brand new place. 

Recently I paid her $100 to look after Caelan on Sundays so I can study. She only did it twice the other 3 times she was not home when I went to drop him off, without telling us. She had a job but quite, she was earning 4 dollars per hour. So I had to pay her $10 per hour to look after her grandson?

The moral of the story I guess is that the mother-in-law jump on the wrong band wagon and is regretting it now. She thought that her son would have the financial means to look after her. But in the end she tried to screw me. She will need to have a large portion of luck on her side.

This was just on my mind sorry for the endless rant. 

Why do the ti-cats break my heart

Why oh why, do the cats not take advantage of the games they play against the teams they need to beat. The slow start was the killer, the points against killed us and that is all. I really wish they played harder. My Als are kickin ass like always, (so far I am in the second quarter). Life in Korea is good. Had a good Thanksgiving dinner that I made, had an oven roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots with cheesecake. Not a bad meal took a few hours to make and 30 minutes to eat. 

China has released a special unit if highly trained killing models/hookers. If America or the west even do go to war with China. The deadly disease known as Yellow fever aka Asian fetish must be eliminated or we are totally screwed.

Semester done

Well my semester is done. This means I have one more year left of school. It has been hard work so far but well worth it. I received a 75 percent on my geography essay. Not to bad, but I should have gotten a higher mark.

My next courses are international economics, an organizational behavior course and two MIS courses. 

Well time to give Caelan a bath.

Jayden is a star

Today we took Jayden's 50-day photos. This is a big deal in Korea because before it was developed 50 days was almost close to retirement for people to survive.

 

Jayden did an awesome job with the pictures. Jayden barley cried and we got many great shots. Afterwards they tried to up sell to the maximum package. We took a package for 470,000 which is still bad but doable. The good news is I picked up a new student. The person that was selling us the packages wants me to teach her son.

On the study front today all went well. I am done my analysis assignment along with the APA. On Saturday, I will be going to the library to study for my up coming exams. I am somewhat scared of the statistics exam.

Ti-cats win

The Tiger cats did it. They beat the Stampeders who were on a four game win streak. The cats started rough but had some good plays on offense. On defence, what can you say? Words are not enough. You can watch the game online at TSN to see a defence that kick butt.

Caelan learned a new word today after the two back-to-back fumbles by the kicks. That word is SHIT! He was walking around the house say shit for the afternoon I really hope he forgets that word. Need to watch my p's and q's I guess.

The studying went well today. I have two more questions to go on my assignment number two for analysis. The swot analysis and question four has three other analyses. I hope to be finished my work by Sunday and send it early this week.

Well I am off to bed; I will have to get up super early with Jayden.

 

My Saturday

Well, today started off fine. I talked with my folks. The usual 30 minutes. I was then to drop Caelan off at the mother in law so I can study, but she was not there.

I paid her 100 bucks to watch him 4 times a month so I can study. Cash paid up front and for 2 out of the 3 times she was not there or would not answer the door. 

Long story short, I told Chungha to get the money back to day. I also told Chungha not to bother me with these Korean hoildays were I have to sit on the floor and listen to her mother eat like a retard cow. Correct that, I think a retard cow has better table manners then her.

Well time to study while looking after 2 kids, (Chungha is sleeping). At least I have my coffee.

I am also using this blog to keep my family in Canada up to date with my life when we are not on the phone, when my parents finally get a computer and internet.
