Saturday trip with K-man

Had a great day with Caelan, it started off bad. The bus we were in was in an accident. Caelan was fine because I am an amazing Dad and protect my kids. Another kid went flying to the front of the bus. We decided to not chance the crazy bus drivers and went on the subway to Gimpo Airport. We went to an Italian restaurant and had lasagne and watched airplanes take off and land.

Now its time to study while the boys are sleeping.

Thursday October 22nd

Yesterday Chungha told me that her brother Wontek did not make the cut for samsung. On top of that disappointment he over heard his mother and father talking about how he did not try hard enough and are worried that he will be unemployed for along time and playing video games and doing nothing.

A few years ago when Chungha and I returned to Korea from Canada, we lived with the mother she was crazier than a shit house rat. She threaten to kick us and our newborn baby out almost daily. Even tho is was her idea to live together. On top of that she made the brother move in and expected me to pay for everything. Paying for a grown man is not something I was willing to do. So we moved out into a tiny apartment. After a year and saving $100,000 we moved into a large brand new place. 

Recently I paid her $100 to look after Caelan on Sundays so I can study. She only did it twice the other 3 times she was not home when I went to drop him off, without telling us. She had a job but quite, she was earning 4 dollars per hour. So I had to pay her $10 per hour to look after her grandson?

The moral of the story I guess is that the mother-in-law jump on the wrong band wagon and is regretting it now. She thought that her son would have the financial means to look after her. But in the end she tried to screw me. She will need to have a large portion of luck on her side.

This was just on my mind sorry for the endless rant. 

Why do the ti-cats break my heart

Why oh why, do the cats not take advantage of the games they play against the teams they need to beat. The slow start was the killer, the points against killed us and that is all. I really wish they played harder. My Als are kickin ass like always, (so far I am in the second quarter). Life in Korea is good. Had a good Thanksgiving dinner that I made, had an oven roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots with cheesecake. Not a bad meal took a few hours to make and 30 minutes to eat.
